Full Marathon

The Full Marathon is the ultimate endurance challenge of Jodhpur Marathon, covering the official distance of 42.195 kilometres through the Blue City. This category is designed for experienced distance runners who are prepared to test their endurance, pacing, discipline, and mental strength in Jodhpur’s first Full Marathon event.

Full Marathon Qualification Requirements


Full Marathon entry is restricted to participants who have completed an officially timed, on-ground race of 21.097 KM or longer between 21 August 2025 and 20 February 2027, both dates inclusive.

The qualifying race must meet the following minimum finish-time requirements:

  • Half Marathon (21.097 KM): 3 hours 15 minutes or faster
  • 25K Run: 4 hours or faster
  • Full Marathon (42.195 KM): 7 hours or faster

Results from Strava, Garmin, other fitness-tracking applications, self-supported runs, training runs, virtual events, trail runs, or uncertified events will not be accepted.

Full Marathon participants must submit:

  • Name of the qualifying event
  • Date of the qualifying event
  • Race distance
  • Bib number
  • Direct link to the official results page showing the participant’s name, bib number, distance, and finish time

A finisher certificate will not be mandatory if the result can be verified through the official results page.


Registration Timeline


  • Registration Start Date: 21 August 2026 at 6:00 PM IST
  • Registration Last Date: 10 February 2027 at 11:59 PM IST
  • Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Full Marathon registration shall remain provisional until the qualifying result is verified.


Bib Expo & Collection


  • Bib Expo Date: To be announced

Participants must collect their bib and T-shirt from the Bib Expo. They must carry:

  • Registration confirmation message or email
  • One valid government-issued photo ID

If a participant is unable to attend personally, a representative may collect the race kit on their behalf by carrying:

  • Their own government-issued photo ID
  • Participant’s photo ID
  • Participant’s confirmed registration message or email


Participant Benefits


Confirmed participants will receive:

  • Official event T-shirt
  • Timed race bib with RFID timing tag

Participants who complete the race within the cut-off time will receive:

  • Timing e-certificate
  • Full Marathon finisher medal
  • Post-race refreshments

The finisher medal will be provided only at the finish line. Medals will not be couriered under any circumstances.


Timing, Results & Certification


RFID timing tags will be used to calculate official timings for this timed category.

  • Provisional results will be available for download after the race.
  • The timing certificate will be available through the official timing partner’s website within 21 days of the Event.
  • Only participants who complete the 42.195 KM distance within 7 hours from their official start time will be eligible for a timing certificate.
  • Timing certificates will be issued only to eligible finishers.

RunnerX LLP reserves the right to review and reject timing results where there are concerns regarding timing accuracy, course distance, technical conduct, or race operations. The decision of RunnerX LLP shall be final and binding.


Route Support & Safety


  • Hydration points will be available along the route.
  • Medical support will be available during the race.
  • Energy and refreshment stations may be available at designated points along the route.
  • Participants must ensure that they are medically fit and adequately trained to complete the Full Marathon.
  • Participation is at the participant’s own risk.


Participation Rules


  • Participants must respect fellow runners, volunteers, officials, and the public.
  • Use or transfer of another participant’s bib is strictly prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
  • Participants must report to the start venue at least 30 minutes before the flag-off time.
  • Only registered and verified participants will be permitted on the race route.
  • Participants must follow instructions issued by race officials and volunteers.
  • Participants finishing after the cut-off time may not be recorded as official finishers or receive an official timing certificate.


Restrictions


Wheelchairs and other wheeled vehicles are not permitted in the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K Classic, 5K Timed Run, and 3K Dream Run categories on race day, except where specifically approved by the Event Organiser for accessibility or operational purposes.


Branding & Promotion Policy


Participants shall not conduct brand marketing or promotional activities for brands other than the Event’s official sponsors and partners.

Participants registered through a corporate, group, or NGO entry may:

  • Carry placards
  • Use banners
  • Wear caps
  • Wear T-shirts

displaying their company, brand, or NGO name or message, subject to approval by the Event Organiser.


Modification Policies


Participants may make the following changes through the My Event section of their user dashboard until 15 January 2027 at 11:59 PM IST:

  • Change their T-shirt size
  • Select or request a custom bib number
  • Upgrade their race category
  • Downgrade their race category

Category changes will be subject to availability and applicable event rules.

  • Upgrading to a higher race category requires payment of the applicable fee difference.
  • Downgrading to a lower race category will not result in a refund of the fee difference.
  • Changes requested after the deadline will not be accepted.
  • If a participant’s Full Marathon qualification is not verified, the participant may request a downgrade to another eligible category, subject to availability.


Custom Bib Option


Participants may select or request a custom bib number until 15 January 2027 at 11:59 PM IST, subject to availability.

  • Custom bib numbers may be available at an additional cost.
  • Custom or VIP bib charges may vary depending on the availability and demand for the selected number.
  • Custom bib requests can be made through User Dashboard → My Event.
  • Requests submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.


Event Authority


The Event Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, or update the Event details, timings, route, facilities, eligibility requirements, and participation rules when necessary. Any material updates will be communicated to registered participants through official channels.
